The work, effort, dedication and persistence of past generations to keep the family legacy alive, as well as the transmission of the passion for agriculture and the vineyard, allows us to innovate without losing the historical aspect that has defined our character.
SUSTAINABILITY
In our experience, it brings great qualitative benefits for our vineyards and our environment, which are transmitted directly to our wines. At Viñas Singulares we are proud to be participating in the creation of a rich and varied ecosystem on our estate.
MINIMUM INTERVENTION
For us it represents the non-addition of any type of preservative such as sulphites, nor any other oenological additive, as well as the non-filtration or clarification of any of our wines. We sincerely believe that this is the best way to transmit the work we put into our estate and the characteristics of our grapes, territory and vintage, without the need to subject it to any chemical process.
HISTORY
Vinyes Singulars is a family project started in 2009, and built on a family tradition started in 1405 by our ancestors. During more than 600 vintages made to our property, the family tradition has been perpetuated from parents to children until now, in which the 23rd generation is responsible for maintaining and improving the family legacy until the next generation.
ESTATE
Our farm located very close to Barcelona, specifically in the south of the city in the middle of the Penedès wine region, extends over an area of 120 hectares, spread over 5 municipalities of the Alt Penedès region. Viticulture, with 40 hectares, is the main crop, followed by cereals, olives and, to a lesser extent, orchards.
TRADITION
With a long family tradition in winemaking, we try that this is present with the traditional varieties and work and respect for the land, which is why the maceration of wines. Our main challenge in winemaking is to continue to advance and innovate, to serve.
